The following is a blitz game from the 2009 World Blitz Chess Championship between Female World Chess Champion, Grandmaster Alexandra Kosteniuk, versus the #1 ranked female chess player in the world, Grandmaster Judit Polgar. This video contains analysis of a 78-move battle with time controls set at 3 minutes per player and a 2 second increment. Despite the game’s length in moves, neither clock struck zero, and all phases were closely contested with the better calculator in the endgame ultimately scoring the full point.
